1. Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

Swayambhunath is also known as monkey temple, an ancient architecture atop a hill in the Valley. Overlooking most parts of the Kathmandu valley.

2. Boudhanath

A massive dome with tow tier with beautiful views of surrounding Boudhanath area with a shop, stores, restaurants, and monasteries especially for tourists.

3. Pashupatinath Temple

The holy and famous Shiva temple with golden pagoda tier roofs and four silver doors surrounded by lovely forest with many monkeys around.

4. Kathmandu Durbar Square

Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Hanuman Dhoka square is famous with its old temples, palaces epitomize the religious and cultural life of the people. The Interesting major things to see here are Kumari (The Living Goddess), Kastha Mandap, Bhagwati Temple, Old Palace, Kal Bhairav, and Taleju Temple, etc.

5. Ason Bazaar (Ason Tole)

Ason Bazaar, a local market is a place to discover the real Kathmandu, the pleasant smell of all kinds of vegetables, fruits, meat, and other food. And the pealing sound of bells ringing in temples, the major shrine of the bazaar is the Annapurna Temple (Asonmaru Ajima).

6. Thamel

A tourist market with hotels, restaurants, trekking agencies and shops that cater specifically to western tourists. Thamel Bazaar is most famous for its nightlife to enjoy live music, bar, pubs.

<p>Our sightseeing in Kathmandu trip usually starts from 9 Am after having breakfast. There will be a tour guide waiting for you at your hotel lobby. You can introduce with him/her, and start exploring Kathmandu on a private car/van/bus.</p><p></p><p>First of all, climb up to the impressive Swayambhunath temple with its stupa, and shrines. Swayambhunath is a place, where you can take a break from the city and look out over Kathmandu and its valley.</p><p></p><p>Similarly, you will visit Pashupatinath biggest Hindu temple; it locates on the banks of the Bagmati River. It is a famous and sacred Hindu temple. One of the major festivals that the temple celebrates is Maha Shivaratri.</p><p></p><p>Likewise, next will be Bouddhanath, the most significant stupa in Nepal. It is an essential place of pilgrimage and meditation for Tibetan Buddhists & local Nepalese. It is also one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Kathmandu valley.</p><p></p><p>Later, visit the gorgeous Kathmandu Durbar Square, surrounded by ancient Newari architecture, high temples, famous shrines, and the old royal palace filled with people worship, buying & selling goods, a local market, etc.</p><p></p><p>Finally, on the way back from Durbar square visit Ason Bazaar, an old local market of Kathmandu valley jammed with vegetable and spice vendors selling everything from yak tails to dried fish. Kathmandu Sightseeing will typically finish at 4 pm. After which you can do some shopping in Kathmandu with our guide if needed.</p>
