Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu trek is easily accessible in Nepal as it is near Kathmandu. It is a trek that lies to the north of Kathmandu valley where you will be able to see various stunning views of mountains. The trek will be covering three major area which is Langtang, Gosaikunda, and Helambu. Gosaikunda is a sacred lake that is important to the Hindu and Buddhist. In August, you can witness a full moon festival at Gosaikunda Lake. You will be seeing thousands of pilgrims around the Nepal and India coming to visit.

The best season to do this trek will be in autumn and spring. The weather is sunny and warm where you get to see outstanding views. You are still able to do the trek in winter, but the weather will be freezing.

The starting point of this Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu trek will be SyabruBesi. You will be trekking along the Langtang river and going through the bamboo forest. If you are lucky, you will have a chance to encounter the shy red panda.

On the way up, you will get to visit monasteries and cheese factories. Don’t miss the stunning views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Lirung. You will meet Brahmin and Chettri people in their villages. Get to learn about their lifestyle and traditional culture.

<p>We leave Kathmandu early in the morning. We will go hotel to local bus park of Kathmandu on a private vehicle, and we will take a deluxe public bus to Syabru Besi from there. Syabru Besi is the starting point of trekking in Langtang region.</p><p></p><p>After our 7 hours of long drive journey, we will reach Syabru Besi. If the weather is clean, we can see the outstanding views of Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Overnight at Syabru Besi.</p>

<p>After breakfast, we will begin our trek towards Langtang Khola. We will be walking through rhododendron and oak forests. After crossing the bridge over Langtang Khola, we ascend on a steep trail, and our trial reaches the Lama Hotel. Overnight at Lama Hotel.</p><p></p><p></p>

<p>Today we continue our trek towards Green Meadows of Ghoda Tabela. From where we can see the beautiful white peaks of the Langtang range. We will pass through the Langtang village which was affected by the 2015 earthquake.</p><p></p><p>Along the way, we will pass the Buddhist monastery before the Langtang village. We will continue our trek until we reach Mundu. Overnight at mundu.</p>

<p>After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Kyanjin Gompa. We pass through the stone built houses made on tiny villages. Kyanjin Gompa is more famous for cheese and curd. We will explore the Buddhist shrine in Kyanjin Gompa and surrounding areas. From here we can see the fantastic views of mountains. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.</p><p></p><p></p>

<p>Today we spend the day by exploring Tserko Ri, which helps us to acclimatize at high altitude. Teserko Ri is in 5,000m, which is the highest altitude we will trek during our Langtang valley trek.</p><p>We begin our hike early in the morning by passing through the yak pastures we will reach Tserko Ri. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is incredible. After exploring Tserko Ri, We trek back to Lama Hotel on our accommodation. Overnight at Lama Hotel.</p>

<p>We begin our trek through the Rimche village and cross the Langtang Khola. After an accessible trail from Bamboo to landslide lodge, we keep our trek until we reach Thulo Syabru. We will be walking through the pine and juniper forests. Overnight at Thulo Syabru. </p><p></p>

<p>Today's trek is short because we are not going to Gosaikunda today we will stay at Shin Gompa to acclimatize us in the high altitude. Along the way, we will cross the beautiful Garta village and Phulung Monastery. Overnight at Shin Gompa. </p><p></p>

<p>Today we will begin our treks towards Gosaikunda. Mountains surround the lake. From here we get to enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas, including Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Hiuchuli, and Annapurna. Gosaikunda is the religious and cultural significance for Nepalese. Every year during Janai Purnima thousands of Hindu pilgrims visits the lake. Overnight at Gosaikunda. </p><p></p>

<p>Today's trail is steep and passes by lakes before we reach Laurebina La Pass at 4610m. The Helambu region begins from the pass. We follow the rocky path that descends through the forests until we reach Ghopte. The trail is well marked so not the dangerous. We will pass through the Surya Kunda before we reach Ghopte. Overnight at Ghopte. </p><p></p>

<p>Today's trail passes through the dense forests until we reach There Pati village. We will continue our trek by further climb a ridge above the town. We cross the two suspension bridges and enter the beautiful city Melamchigaon. Overnight at Melamchigaon. </p><p></p>

<p>We will start our trekking towards Tarkeghyang by crossing the Stupa. Our trip passes through the forests until we reach Ama Yangri. There are Buddhist prayer flags and Stupa at the top of the hill. From Ama Yangri we will get the beautiful, mind-blowing views of the Langtang ranges and Mt. Sishapangma. Further trekking a while from Ama Yangri through the forests will reach us to the charming village of Sherpa community Tarkeghyang. Overnight at Tarkeghyang. </p><p></p>

<p>We start our trek after breakfast passing through the lush forests. Before reaching the Sermanthang a beautiful Sherpa village, we move through the villages, Chortens, and a monastery. From Sermanthang, we can see the stunning views of Ganesh Himal, Langtang ranges, and Jugal Himal. Overnight at Sermanthang. </p><p></p>

<p>The last day of our trip of Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu trek, we hike through the meadows, fields and beautiful villages for 3 to 4 hours to reach Melamchi Bazaar. From here we will take a drive to Kathmandu which takes around two hours. Overnight at Hotel.</p><p></p>
