We agree that this trek is a bit more expensive and it's because of Luxury lodges on the way to EBC are much costly. And you will need to take one domestic flight to reach Lukla and also we are going to bring you down directly from EBC to Kathmandu by Private Helicopter. The trip price can be reduced if you choose to trek back down from EBC to Lukla.

The cost of the trek can be reduced if you chose to trek back down from Everest base camp to Lukla(which take two more days) & ready to make an ordinarily aeroplane flight.

Note: Sometimes Lukla flight can be cancelled due to bad weather conditions, so this is not a good idea if you are on Limited holiday.

Day 1 :

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla & Trek to Phakding(2,886 m). 5-6 hours.

On this day( First day of our Luxury Everest base camp trek ), first of all, We take an early morning flight to Lukla(40 minutes), and we meet the rest of our team in Lukla. After loading our trekking equipment, we start trekking from there. By descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka. The walking is easy. After passing through the small village of Ghat, you will reach Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.Accommodation, Lunch & Dinner Included

Day 2 :

Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3,440 m). 6 hours.

After breakfast at Phakding, we begin our walk. Our trail passes through a pine forest on the path that goes north up the Benkar valley. We cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo villages. We will walk crossing the majestic river on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. Finally, we reach the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park. After entering the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views, and we will reach Namche Bazaar (probably the biggest town in the Everest region). Day 3 :

Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar is a great place to acclimatize. The sights around Namche are spectacular and beautiful. On this day We can hike-up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kongde, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and so on. Day 4 :

Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche(3,820 m). 6 hours.

We will walk Tengboche today which will take 5 hours. The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of the mountains. Tengboche monastery is the biggest monastery of the Everest region. It is located within the Sagarmatha National Park which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tengboche Monastery always opens at 3:00 pm, if we reach there before 3 o’clock, we can also visit. The monastery is blessed with panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Day 5 :

Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche(4,360 m). 5 hours.

The trekking trail crosses the Imja River via a suspension bridge and moves towards the village of Dingboche. Along the way, we passed the Pangboche. Pangboche Gompa of this village is considered as one of the oldest monasteries of Everest region. Graceful views of Lhotse, the Island Peak, and the Ama Dablam from Dingboche are quite fantastic. Day 6 :

Day 06: Acclimatization day at Dingboche.

Rather than moving towards Everest Base Camp, we will take a hike to Nangkartshang peak just above Dingboche. Today we will take our time to rest, so we can avoid getting affected by the altitude. Walking for approximately 4 hours, we will reach Nangkartshang from where we can see a marvellous panorama view of Lobuche Wast, Lobuche East, Kangtega, Taboche Peak, Ama Dablam and the Thamserku. If you are lucky, you can also spot stunning sights of Mount Makalu on a bright day. The view of the Pheriche Valley from here is also splendid. Day 7 :

Day 07: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche(4,940 m). 5 hours.

Today, the trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. We pass by stone memorials for climbers who have perished on nearby summits.Again we continue to climb until we reach the village of Lobuche. The views of mountain peaks like Mahalangur Himal, the Khumbutse, Pumori and the Lingtren from the moraine are amazing. Day 8 :

Day 08: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep(Day trip to Everest Base Camp)

Walking for about 3 hours, we will reach to Gorakshep, a tranquil location dotted with some lodges. Today is a significant and challenging day walk. From here, the path moves all the way along the Khumbu Glacier, and up to Everest Base Camp at 5,365m, you can get to Mt. Everest without mountaineering equipment.We will commence with a slow walk to avoid altitude sickness. After spending some time at the Everest base camp enjoying the environment and the sights, we will return to Gorakshep. Day 9 :

Day 09: Morning trip to Kalapatthar(5,545 m) & fly back to Kathmandu. 5 hours.

Today early in the morning we will hike up to Kala Patthar from Gorakshep. Kalapatthar is in 5,545m, which is the highest altitude we will trek during our Everest base camp trek. The golden sunrise over the white peaks is impressive. The view from the summit is outstanding. From Kalapatthar we can see panoramic views of Mount Everest, Chagatse, Nuptse, Pumori and the Lhotse among many other peaks.
