This trek is shorter than the others. Some trekkers even called it Everest Short Trekking due to the short distance of trekking. Buddhist Monastery is essential in Tengboche. You will be seeing monks playing sweet musical sounds. Want to experience the mani rimdu festival, Tengboche will be the place you want to visit. Detail Itinerary Of Everest View Trek
Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla(2,860m) and Trek to Phakding(2,651m) – 4 hours.
On this day We take an early morning flight to Lukla(40 minutes), and we meet the rest of our team in Lukla. After loading our trekking equipment, we start trekking from there. By descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka. The walking is easy. After passing through the small village of Ghat, you will reach Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.
Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar(3,438m) – 6 hours.
After breakfast at Phakding, we begin our walk. Our trail passes through a pine forest on the path that goes north up the Benkar valley. We cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo villages. We will walk crossing the majestic river on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. Finally, we reach the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park. After entering the Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views, and we will reach Namche Bazaar (probably the biggest town in the Everest region). Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
Day 03: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.(Day trip to Khumjung)(3,700m) – 5 hours.
Namche Bazaar is a great place to acclimatize. The sights around Namche are spectacular and beautiful. On this day We can hike-up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Kongde, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and so on. We can visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and the Everest Photo Gallery as well. Overnight stay at the Guesthouse.
Day 04: Trek to Tengboche(3,870m) – 6 hours.
We will walk Tengboche today which will take 5 hours. The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of the mountains. Tengboche monastery is the biggest monastery of the Everest region. It is located within the Sagarmatha National Park which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tengboche Monastery always opens at 3:00 pm, if we reach there before 3 o’clock, we can also visit. The monastery is blessed with panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku and Ama Dablam. Overnight at a guest house.
Day 05: Trek to Monjo(2,840m) – 6 hours.
After breakfast at Tengboche, we begin our walk down. Our trail passes through a pine forest on the path that goes north up the Benkar valley. We cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa village. Finally, we reach Monjo village. Today’s journey is 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse in Monjo.
Day 06: Trek to Lukla(2,860m) – 7 hours.
Today’s trial starts by descends steeply towards Chauri Kharka. We will cross the villages Chopling and Phakding. Further, we will climb from Chauri Kharka. After walking 5/6 hours from Monjo, we will reach Lukla. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 07: Fly back to Kathmandu – 40 minutes.
We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu today. After arrival in Kathmandu, You’ll transfer to your hotel for some much-needed solo rest and reflection after your trek conquering the Himalayas. At afternoon you can do some shopping in Kathmandu.
