Annapurna circuit trek, located in the central part of Nepal, is another famous trek for trekkers. It had been open for tourism in 1980. You will be able to get to see some majestic mountain views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Mt. Machhapuchhre. Other than the stunning views of mountains, you will be able to visit the natural hot spring and see a few stunning waterfalls. Under the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), you will able to see hundreds of Orchids and species of birds and animals like snow leopard, Langur Monkey, and deer. A particular highlight of this trek is you will be able to trek a supremely adventurous and challenging Thorong La pass. When taking this trek, you will get an opportunity to meet different ethnic people, learn about their culture.

Another attraction during the Annapurna circuit trek is that you will be able to observe Buddhist monks worshipping at ancient monasteries in the Tibetan village of Manang. The trek will be starting from Besisahar. We will be stopping at Chame on the way up. The people at Chame follow the custom and building style of the Tibetans. You will be able to get to know a bit more about their culture. When we go through the path to Pisang, you will get to see spectacular views of the soaring Paungda Danda rock face. When you reach Manang, you will get to see the monastery in a village called Vraga. We will be trekking through the famous high pass, Thorong La at 5,416m during our Annapurna Circuit Trek. The best time to visit will be between Mar-May and Sep-Nov. The weather is warm, and skies are clear.

Detail Itinerary Of Annapurna Circuit Trek

Day 01: Drive to Bhulbhule(840m) from Kathmandu(1,400m) – 7 hours.

Today our Trekking staff will arrive at your Hotel to pick you up at 7:30 am in the morning. We will take public deluxe Bus from Local bus park of Kathmandu. Our today’s journey is about 185km from Kathmandu, which will take approximately 7 hours to reach Bhulbhule. On the way, we will cross Trishuli River and Marsyangdi River. On arrival at Bhulbhule, we will witness stunning snow-capped mountain scenery. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 02: Drive to Chame(2,630m) – 6 hours.

Today we will take a four-wheel drive to Chame from Bhulbhule. We will follow Marsyangdhi valley, and it passes through many mountain village and beautiful scenery. Prepare yourself for bumpy road experience. We will drive approximately 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 03: Trek to Pisang(3,190m) – 6 hours.

Today’s walk starts through thick forest and narrow valley along the way we will cross a river on a long bridge( Marshyangdi). During the walk, we can see Annapurna ii, Annapurna iv and the Pisang peak. It will take 6 hours to reach Pisang village. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek to Manang(3,540m) – 6 hours.

Today we will trek from Pisang to Manang. On the way, we will witness excellent views of the beautiful landscape and the mountains including Pisang and Annapurna. We will walk approximately 6 hours today. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day in Manang.

We will take rest today to explore Manang. There are places like Bhojo Gumba and Gangapurna Lake to visit. We will spend today’s day to see the magnificent views of the village Manang. Later we return to our Guesthouse.

Day 06: Trek to Ledar(4,250m) – 5 hours.

On this day, we will walk for around 5 hours to reach Ledar located at the altitude 4250m. During the trek, breathtaking views of Annapurna will move along with you. We can see Mt. Gangapurna, Khangsahar, Chulu west, Chulu east and many more. Overnight at guesthouse in Ledar.

Day 07: Trek to Thorung Phedi(4,450m) and High Camp(4,925m) – 6 hours.

The trail will go through the suspension bridge. After crossing it, we will trek further up to reach high camp. We will walk approximately 6 hours today to reach high camp. Along the way, we will cross the small village Thorang Phedi, which is the last village before Thorong La pass. Overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Trek to Muktinath(3,800m) via Thorong La Pass(5,416m)– 7 hours.

Today is the highest altitude day during our Annapurna circuit trek. We will start today’s trek early in the morning. We will reach, explore Thorong la pass(5,416m), click some pictures and further trek down to reach Muktinath. We will be rewarded with the magnificent view from the top of Thorong la pass. Overnight at Muktinath at the guesthouse.

Day 09: Trek to Marpha(2,670m) – 6 hours.

Muktinath is a pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists. In the morning we will visit around Muktinath temple. We will further trek down to reach Marpha which will take 6 hours. Marpha is famous for the apple. The local brandy of Marphamade from apple is famous all around Nepal. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 10: Trek to Kalopani(2,460m) – 6 hours.

From Marpha, we take a route toward Kalopani via Chokhopani village. Along the way, we will pass traditional communities of the ethnic Thakali people. During the walk, we can see panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I and many more mountains. Overnight at Kalopani.

Day 11: Trek to Tatopani(1,190m) – 6 hours.

Our today’s journey today is mostly downhill. During the trek, we will cross some suspension bridges and some forests before reaching Tatopani. Also known as Hot Spring. After reaching Tatopani, we can relax and have a bath in the hot spring. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 12: Trek to Ghorepani(2,870m) – 7 hours.

Today we will walk for 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, we pass through the villages of Shikha and Chitre. After crossing a beautiful rhododendron forest, we will reach a beautiful town located on a ridge top Ghorepani. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 13: Early morning hike up to Poon Hill(3,210m) and trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara – 8 hours.

Today is the longest trail day of our trek. Today we will take an early morning trip to Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise view. We can see Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Varaha Shikhar, Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks from the poon hill viewpoint. And then again we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and begin your trek to Nayapul through the forests of rhododendrons, bamboos, and oaks. End your day with a return transfer by car or taxi to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 14: Drive back to Kathmandu(1,400m) – 7 hours.

We will be driven back to Kathmandu in the morning. We will reach Kathmandu after seven hours of drive. Overnight at a Hotel.

We trekked in the Kanchenjunga, a fantastic place to spend two weeks in Nepal. I'd highly recommend this trek. However if you have enough time, I'd recommend doing the whole Kanchenjunga circuit which is longer both North and South base camp trek. This is an impressive trekking trial to spend weeks in adventure trekking: great food, accommodation at tea houses, fantastic places to stay and very remote and isolated villages. We were set up with an excellent guide Prakash who did a tremendous job of looking after us and sharing his experiences on the Himalayas of Nepal. A well-known guide for this route Prakash was very flexible with our schedule and provided us with fresh fruit, cookies, and chocolate sometimes. The all team of Up To Himalaya was fantastic to deal with, excellent communication and very flexible at any time. They answered our numerous questions and managed customized itinerary according to our request. I highly recommend them and will be contacting them to organize my next trip to Nepal if I ever thought to do.read more

Just returned from the Manaslu circuit trekking with Up To Himalaya. From our arrival in Kathmandu to our departure we received very professional service from the entire team. At our briefing time, Narayan said the Larkya La pass is being closed for some days due to the bad weather. So we were not able to cross the pass, but we are still happy because we trekked with the most experienced and knowledgeable guide Saroj and got every information about the trip on a briefing day. The most positive thing is we got prior information about the pass being closed they even offered us to do another trek if we wanted to do, but we said we would do the Manaslu. Another positive for the company is the necessary things for high altitude treks such as sleeping bag, down jacket, poles and trekking bag are all provided. The guide and porters were fantastic and were genuinely concerned about all aspects of our safety. Overall we would recommend this company for those who are planning to trek in Manaslu.read more

We were from India and visiting Nepal for the first time. Our dream was to see Mount Everest, but unfortunately, we didn't have any trekking experience. Narayan recommended us to go Nagarkot to see sunrise & sunset view over Mount Everest & other mountains although Everest is too far still the views were fantastic from Nagarkot. Our guide Nabaraj also seems knowledgeable & experienced, the hotel, foods were also lovely. We had a fantastic time on Nepal doing Manaslu circuit trek with them. Our guide Saroj was very experienced about the entire trek and made sure we acclimatized well before the pass. While others were resting at the tea house, we were practicing 900 ascents to be fit to cross the dramatic Larkya La Pass. He always made sure we had excellent rooms in tea houses and always ordered our dinner early so we could eat earlier and haven't need to wait long. Our porter Nabaraj was also very experienced, helpful and observant. He was also always in the kitchen helping with making our meals, which I never saw other porters doing the same thing. We will definitely choose them for trekking again when we come back to Nepal! We highly recommend Up To Himalaya and Saroj for the trekking to Manaslu circuit in Nepal.read more

I did a three day, the two-night trek from Kathmandu to Shivapuri National Park, Chisapani, and Nagarkot village and Loved it! We are solo trekkers — trekking for the first time in Upper Mustang, formerly known as a forbidden kingdom. During the trekking, we met Hari on the way with some of his groups from Up To Himalaya. Since we were new, we didn't have any information about the places to visit, places to eat, places to stay, etc. He helped us to get better accommodations and foods during the trek; In fact, we had done the trek with him & his group.
