Everest trek is also known as the trek in Everest/Khumbu Region. Everest region is in the eastern part of Nepal. It is the most popular trekking region in Nepal. It is the surrounding of Mt Everest, the world highest mountain. The best time to do Everest trek will be in Spring (March – mid-May) or Autumn (September – November). If you want to see hedgerows and trees blooming, it is an excellent time to look around April and early May. You will be able to meet friendly Sherpa villagers who are the primary inhabitants of the regions. You may have the opportunity to interact with them and get to know their culture.

It is a home for snow leopard, musk deer, mouse hare, different species of birds, etc. The park was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1979 by UNESCO. There are lots of treks option for you to choose on Everest trek, for example, Everest view trek, Everest base camp trek, Three high pass trek, Gokyo lake trek, etc. But if you are not very ambitious about trekking too, there is another destination to go such as Namche Bazaar, Sherpa culture in Khumjung village, etc. For travelers who prefer a more relaxed route will be able to take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Those who are more adventurous they can start trekking from Jiri or Phaplu.
