Detail Itinerary Of Pokhara Tour
Day 01: Drive to Pokhara(900m) – 7 hours, in a Tourist Bus.
Today we will take a drive to Pokhara early in the morning via Prithivi national highway. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7 am. The journey could take roughly 8 hours to reach Pokhara. We also have the option to choose a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara(35 minutes). We will stay overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.
Day 02: Visit Davi’s Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, Barahi temple and Phewa Lake. Overnight at a Hotel.
Today we will start our Pokhara tour trip from 9 Am as usual after having breakfast. There will be a tour guide waiting for you at your hotel lobby. You can introduce with him/her, and start exploring Pokhara on a private car/van/bus. We will visit Davi’s Fall, a lovely waterfall. When the water reached the bottom, it will form an underground tunnel. There is a luck pond around there. You will be to try your luck by throwing and placing the coin on the statue of God.
Next will be Nepal famous cave, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave. There is a rumor saying it is the longest cave in Nepal. There is a crystal clear pond in the cave. If you want to see Devi’s fall falling right from the top, this will be the place. We will be visiting the major attraction of the tour which is the Barahi temple which stands in the middle of the water. You will be canoeing across the glistening waters of Phewa Lake to reach the temple. If you happened to go on a Saturday, you would get to see worshippers carrying male animals for sacrifice.
Day 03: Visit Sarangkot and Bindabasini temple. Overnight at a Hotel.
Today we will visit Sarangkot which is the highest point in the Pokhara valley, which offers one excellent sunrise over Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan Range along with Mt. Fishtail. We can arrange short trekking if time allowed. You will get to enjoy the magnificent view of the Pokhara Valley, and the superb view of the mountains such as Annapurna Massif and Fishtail Mountain. We will be visiting Seti River George. The river runs through the city underground. Next will be Bindabasini temple. On Saturday, there will be worshippers performing sacrifices.
Day 04: Visit the International Mountain Museum on Private Vehicle. Overnight at a Hotel in Pokhara.
Today the last day of our trip. We will visit the International Mountain Museum where you can dig deeper into the history of mountains and other mountaineering activities. After that, we will drive back to Pokhara again and stay overnight.
Day 05: Drive back to Kathmandu.
We will be driven back to Kathmandu in the morning. We will reach Kathmandu after seven hours of drive. Overnight at a Hotel.
