One of the oldest treks in Nepal, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is a great short trek for those who want to experience trekking in Nepal. Besides experiencing trekking, you will be able to get a great view of the sunrise and sunset on this trek. It’s an incredible experience as you see the sunrise/sunset over the snow-capped mountain.
Poon Hill trek is a short trek which is also suitable for a family trip. You will be able to see the stunning views of the famous mountain like Gangapurna, Annapurna I and Fishtail. Besides that, you will get to walk through the rhododendron forests and green forests accompanied by magnificent waterfalls.
We will be starting the trek from Nayapul. We will be passing through some villages. One of the most popular communities is Ghorepani. This village is one of the leading attractions as you can get to see panoramic views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan ranges.
As arriving at Poon Hill, you will able to see the magical sunset and sunrise view over the Himalayan peaks. We will be visiting Ghandruk, which is the most significant Gurung village in the region. It is also known as the stone carved village.

<p>Today we will take a drive to Pokhara early in the morning via Prithivi national highway. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7 am. The journey could take roughly 8 hours to reach Pokhara. We also have the option to choose a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara(35 minutes). We will stay overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.</p><p></p><p></p>
<p>Today we will drive to Kyumi from Pokhara on a Public Bus. It takes two hours to get to Kyumi and start the trek to Tadapani. It will take three hours to reach Tadapani through Ghandruk village. We walk through the bank of Burundi Khola. Overnight at Guesthouse.</p><p></p><p></p>
<p>We move on towards the steep climb through beautiful forests of oak and rhododendrons. After five hours of walk, we will reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is one of the biggest villages in the Annapurna mountains of Nepal situated at an approximate altitude of 2760 meters above sea level. This village provides excellent views of the Himalayan panorama of Nepal. Overnight at hotel in Ghorepani.</p><p></p><p></p>
<p>Today is the longest trail day of our trek. Today we will take an early morning trip to Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise view. We can see Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Varaha Shikhar, Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks from the poon hill viewpoint. </p><p></p><p>And then again we will return to Ghorepani for breakfast and begin your trek to Hile through the forests of rhododendrons, bamboos, and oaks. End your day with a return transfer by car, jeep or taxi to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.</p><p></p><p></p>
<p>We will be driven back to Kathmandu in the morning. We will reach Kathmandu after seven hours of drive. Overnight at a Hotel.</p><p></p><p></p>
