Rolwaling Trek

Rolwaling trek is one of the most remote parts of the Himalayas, and it is near to Tibet border. Icy peaks are surrounding every corner of this beautiful valley. It is considered the most challenging trekking routes in Nepal. Rolwaling Valley is sometimes called the Grave due to its location.

Trekkers can experience the traditional culture of the locals, and rewarded with enchanting views of mountain scenery of Mt.Gaurishanker, Rolwaling Himal and Chobabhamre.

The main attraction of Rolwaling trek is Tso Rolpa lake, Tashi laptsa Pass and Drolumbau Glacier. There is a lot of tales of yeti in this land, and some mountaineers arranged expeditions to hunt yetis in the past.

We will start the trek from Sigatte. As we hike up, we will go through a gorgeous rhododendron and bamboo forest. As we enter Beding, a lonely small village, there will be a Buddhist Monastery is located in the centre of the village. We will need to move towards Yalung La pass and other hard parts during the trek.
