Along the trek, you will be able to see rice paddies, lush rhododendron forests and high altitude landscapes.

As you reach the base camp, you will come face to face with the Annapurna massif. You will be able to do the Annapurna base camp trek in all season. The rhododendron forests will be blooming in spring, and you will able to get a beautiful view of the rhododendron forest. The locals we will meet there will be a mix of ethnic groups. In lower elevations, there are Brahmins and Chhetris. Mostly will be Gurung and Magar people in the area.

The Annapurna base camp trek will start at Nayapul. As we continue to hike up, we will pass some beautiful green areas and rice paddies in Ghorepani. As we hike up to Poon Hill, you may get the chance to see sunrise or sunset depending on the time and weather.

On the way up to the base camp, you will go through bamboo forests with varieties of rhododendron and oak trees. As you get nearer to the Annapurna base camp, you will get to see the view of Mount Hiunchuli (6441m.), Annapurna South (7229m.), Annapurna I (8091m.). If you have a chance, you will see a Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola. You will enjoy this trek and have a great experience.

Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Today we will take a drive to Pokhara early in the morning via Prithivi national highway. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7 am. The journey could take roughly 8 hours to reach Pokhara. We also have the option to choose a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara(35 minutes). We will stay overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

After a short walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti village, a village with many shops and teahouses. Again our trek continues through the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille. After a short climb up, we will reach Tikhedhunga. Overnight at Guesthouse.

We move on towards the steep climb to Ulleri through beautiful forests of oak and rhododendrons, towards Banthanti and Nangethanti. After five hours of walk, we will reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is one of the biggest villages in the Annapurna mountains of Nepal situated at an approximate altitude of 2760 meters above sea level. This village provides excellent views of the Himalayan panorama of Nepal. Overnight at hotel in Ghorepani.

Day 04: Ghorepani to Tadapani

Today is the longest trail day of our trek. Today we will take an early morning trip to Poon Hill to enjoy the sunrise view. We can see Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukuche Peak, Nilgiri, Varaha Shikhar, Mt. We trekked in the Kanchenjunga, a fantastic place to spend two weeks in Nepal. I'd highly recommend this trek. However if you have enough time, I'd recommend doing the whole Kanchenjunga circuit which is longer both North and South base camp trek. This is an impressive trekking trial to spend weeks in adventure trekking: great food, accommodation at tea houses, fantastic places to stay and very remote and isolated villages. We were set up with an excellent guide Prakash who did a tremendous job of looking after us and sharing his experiences on the Himalayas of Nepal. A well-known guide for this route Prakash was very flexible with our schedule and provided us with fresh fruit, cookies, and chocolate sometimes. The all team of Up To Himalaya was fantastic to deal with, excellent communication and very flexible at any time. They answered our numerous questions and managed customized itinerary according to our request. I highly recommend them and will be contacting them to organize my next trip to Nepal if I ever thought to do.read more

Just returned from the Manaslu circuit trekking with Up To Himalaya. From our arrival in Kathmandu to our departure we received very professional service from the entire team. At our briefing time, Narayan said the Larkya La pass is being closed for some days due to the bad weather. So we were not able to cross the pass, but we are still happy because we trekked with the most experienced and knowledgeable guide Saroj and got every information about the trip on a briefing day. The most positive thing is we got prior information about the pass being closed they even offered us to do another trek if we wanted to do, but we said we would do the Manaslu. Another positive for the company is the necessary things for high altitude treks such as sleeping bag, down jacket, poles and trekking bag are all provided. The guide and porters were fantastic and were genuinely concerned about all aspects of our safety. Overall we would recommend this company for those who are planning to trek in Manaslu.read more

We were from India and visiting Nepal for the first time. Our dream was to see Mount Everest, but unfortunately, we didn't have any trekking experience. Narayan recommended us to go Nagarkot to see sunrise & sunset view over Mount Everest & other mountains although Everest is too far still the views were fantastic from Nagarkot. Our guide Nabaraj also seems knowledgeable & experienced, the hotel, foods were also lovely. Overall we recommend Up To Himalaya for their hard work to arrange our memorable holiday in Nepal.read more

We had a fantastic time on Nepal doing Manaslu circuit trek with them. Our guide Saroj was very experienced about the entire trek and made sure we acclimatized well before the pass. While others were resting at the tea house, we were practicing 900 ascents to be fit to cross the dramatic Larkya La Pass. He always made sure we had excellent rooms in tea houses and always ordered our dinner early so we could eat earlier and haven't need to wait long. Our porter Nabaraj was also very experienced, helpful and observant. He was also always in the kitchen helping with making our meals, which I never saw other porters doing the same thing. We will definitely choose them for trekking again when we come back to Nepal! We highly recommend Up To Himalaya and Saroj for the trekking to Manaslu circuit in Nepal.read more

Expert organizers from the company helped us from choosing a trek to planning our holiday in Nepal all. We felt like we were welcomed and treated like friends, not just customers. We did Manaslu circuit trek with Up To Himalaya, and we are pleased that we did the trek with more enjoyment and friendly guide Sabin. Landscape and mountains are amazing. Our porter Hari was so lovely, always with the smile even if the effort was high. I would love to come back to do next trekking and will again go back to them in the future!read more

I booked a 5-day Poon Hill trek ( Kathmandu-Kathmandu ) with Up To Himalaya in late June and had a marvelous experience! Mr. Sudeep was extremely helpful in answering all my questions before the trip booked and also after. I was also lucky to have such a friendly guide! Saroj. He was always ready with a smile, a helping hand, and answers all of my questions on anything and everything during the trek. He made sure my every need were met during the trek and often went out of his way to get me second helpings of food, or ensuring I was doing well. Nothing was rushed. I got good food at the chosen guesthouses. He took good care of me, and it made the trek a very pleasurable experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Up To Himalaya, the services of Mr. Sudeep and Saroj. Book your trek to Nepal with Up To Himalaya and bring back lifetime unforgettable memory.read more

We are solo trekkers — trekking for the first time in Upper Mustang, formerly known as a forbidden kingdom. During the trekking, we met Hari on the way with some of his groups from Up To Himalaya. Since we were new, we didn't have any information about the places to visit, places to eat, places to stay, etc. He helped us to get better accommodations and foods during the trek; In fact, we had done the trek with him & his group. I was shocked that he knew each & every place of Upper Mustang and every hotel owners. Furthermore, he said he had trekked the same route for more than 50 times until now. His guests, Johannes and Buenos both are very friendly and helpful too. We finished the trekking together. We are so happy that he helped us to make our trip unforgettable.read more
